Welcome to this exciting program which has been designed to give your group an in-depth study of the book of Numbers. I developed this series in an attempt to introduce each participating member to what we call “the integration of Scripture.” I hope you will obtain a balanced teaching from the Word of God. 

In Hebrew, במדבר means ''in the wilderness,'' which is the real name of the book of Numbers. The Greek translators called it Arithmoi, and in Latin it was Numeri, because the translators focused on the two census takings at the beginning and the end of the wanderings. But its basically ''the wilderness wanderings.''

Ron Matsen

With over 30 years in the pastoral ministry, Ron has taught verse-by verse through the Bible many times, hosted a live two-hour TV programme broadcast across Europe for more than two years, and taught extensively on the subjects of evangelism, leadership, and end-times topics. Although Ron and his wife are native Californians, they moved to England in 1992 and in 2011 immigrated to New Zealand where they partnered with Chuck Missler at the ministry base, The River Lodge. Ron is currently the President of Koinonia House and Koinonia Institute.
