In this briefing pack Thy Kingdom Come, Chuck Missler gives insight into the questions, Are you ready? Do you understand? Does your behavior now matter later?
"Thy Kingdom come...." (Matt 6:10) is part of the "Lord's Prayer" and yet few Christians have any idea what it is really about. Not only were we instructed to pray for its coming but it is the first thing we are to pray for! Now is the time to prepare for its coming. Gabriel promised Mary that Jesus would sit upon the Throne of David. Has this happened yet? Is there a relationship between the Millennium and the Davidic Kingdom.

Chuck Missler was the Founder of Koinonia House and Koinonia Institute. It was Chuck’s vision for this ministry that brings us together. His aim was to stimulate us to dig into the Bible ourselves because as we study there is a real opportunity for us to encounter the God of the Universe. Chuck passed away on May 1st, 2018.
This video is a must-watch for every disciple of Jesus Christ, in my view because it explains how we got to view far too many theological issues allegorically, which got us into trouble throughout the centuries because we (people) blurred the true meaning of the Word of God by our own ideas and concepts that made us come up with false interpretations. So instead of taking the Word of God at face value it was filtered through the ideas and concepts of Origen and Augustine who got off the narrow path of the Word of God and placed the teachings of the Bible in a "cloud of allegorical symbolism", which is truly asking for trouble. While listening to this video teaching, I became aware of in a much more acute way how dangerous it is to allegorize Scripture.
I knew that Origen could not be trusted for he has basically fathered the New-Age type so-called Christian brand of Gnosticism in my view, which we see play out today partly in the prosperity movement but also in an entertainment-type of 'Christianity' that commits to spiritual emotionalism instead of to reverently making use of the Word of God and taking up the Cross of Christ as a follower of Jesus Christ. if you mess with God's Word, you mess with Jesus Christ himself. You misrepresent Jesus Christ. These thoughts were popping up while I was listening. Knowing how to discern what times we are living in gets totally blurred if you don't understand the key facts of this video teaching. May God continue to bless kHouse!
