Bob Cornuke should be considered one of the eight wonders of the world, which is saying something considering my late husband, Jim Irwin, was the eighth man to walk on the moon. Bob, Jim and, at times, myself, experienced some astonishing adventures together. Once we were even placed under house arrest in Turkey while searching for Noah’s ark on Mount Ararat. These two men shared some wild exploits and were so much alike you couldn’t help but love them. You will love Bob, too, as he recounts his many fascinating and, at times, quite perilous journeys searching the world for lost locations and artifacts described in the pages of the Bible. Whether it’s Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Malta, Israel, or the Red Sea, Bob’s vivid accounts will captivate you on every page as he shares his many amazing adventures.
-Mary Irwin Vickers, author and fellow explorer.
When I was chaplain for the NBA Washington Bullets/Wizards, Bob was able to stop by a few times and inspire the players with some of his “on-the-edge-of-your-seat” exploits. The guys were mesmerized during those pre-game meetings. None of them wanted to leave to play the game. Picture it. Bob surrounded by NBA giants...leaning in to capture his every word. And that’s the image I have of every reader of Explore. What’s around the next corner? How’s Bob going to make it out this mess? Leaning in – like the NBA players – to grasp more of the remarkable adventures Bob encountered while searching for artifacts and Biblical sites. And Bob is an excellent guide! The book you hold in your hands is a fast-paced, heart-pounding reading experience that will exceed your wildest expectations.
-Joel A. Freeman, Ph.D.

Bob is a former FBI-trained police investigator and SWAT team member. The author of eleven books, he received his PhD from Louisiana Baptist University. He and his wife, Terry, along with their children, make their home in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado.
The Lost Shipwreck of Paul - Book
- Was St. Paul's Bay really the site of Paul's shipwreck?
- What route did Paul's boat take, and where would that leave them when they dropped the anchors?
- What type of boat was used, and what type of anchors would it have had?
- Would the anchors have decayed over time?
- What exactly happened on the night of the shipwreck?
In September of 2000, Bob Cornuke flew to Malta. That trip marked the start of nearly two years of research and discovery in search of the lost anchors described in Acts.
The true story of The Lost Shipwreck of Paul reads like a gripping fiction novel, as Cornuke takes readers along with him into the investigation. Using techniques he learned as a police officer and crime scene investigator, he probes each angle of the mystery.
Cornuke takes you into his life experience to find the answer in The Lost Shipwreck of Paul. Suspense and drama unfold in this riveting, true account that presents one of the most astounding discoveries of the century. Page-by-page, it is history found and history made.
