The Rapture

There continue to be many questions concerning the "Rapture" of the Church and its apparent contrast with the "Second Coming" of Jesus Christ. Where does this strange view come from? Is the term "rapture" even in the Bible?

Clearly, the idea of the Rapture can be considered the most preposterous belief in Biblical Christianity. The situation regarding the doctrine of the Rapture is painfully similar to the famous quote by Michio Kaku, speaking of quantum physics:

I think it is safe to say that no one understands quantum mechanics... In fact, it is often stated that of all the theories proposed in this century, the silliest is quantum theory. Some say that the only thing that quantum theory has going for it… is that it is unquestionably correct.

Through Hebrew Eyes

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come: but the body is of Christ. Colossians 2:16-17

For centuries Israel has celebrated The Feasts as they were instructed by God. To this day, in a predominately secular society, they celebrate "religiously" what they don't fully understand.

Once realized that they are "shadows" of things to come and of the Christ, the traditional Jewish perspective is transformed into a Living Hope and Promise. Only generations of tradition met with God's revelation can produce such a rich understanding of God's Transforming Love.

Hidden Treasures

For the novice as well as the sophisticate, this study is full of surprises. It includes subtle discoveries lying just “beneath” the text -- hidden messages, encryptions, deliberate misspellings and other amendments to the text -- that present implications beyond the immediate context, demonstrating a skillful design that has its origin from outside our space and time. Drawing upon over forty years of collecting, Chuck highlights in this study many of the precious nuggets that have become characteristic of his popular Bible studies around the world.

It is guaranteed to stimulate, prove, and, hopefully, disturb. It will confound the skeptic and encourage the believer. It is a "must" for every thinking seeker of truth and serious inquirer of reality.

Mystery of Melchizedek

  • Who was this strange Priest/King that received tithes from Abraham? (…and administered bread and wine to him?)
  • How is Melchizedek relevant to the Messiah of Israel?
  • Did Melchizedek have a temple that predated Solomon’s?
  • Is the Jewish Kingdom as portrayed in the Old Testament simply an intermediate parenthesis within a larger expanse?
  • Why are the distinctives so divergent from the enforced separation of the kingship and priesthood under David?
  • Were the bread and wine served by Melchizedek eschatological? Did they embrace the Cross? (They, too, echo across the pages of the OT)
  • Was the Lord’s Communion anticipated in Gen. 14?
Deriving from some very recent discoveries in Jerusalem (although some are yet to be confirmed) these studies may challenge many of the comfortable traditions that have shaped our classic Biblical perspectives. Join us as we explore some fascinating challenges to our previous understandings of things that shape our ultimate destiny… This briefing pack contains 1 hour of teaching © Copyright 2014

The Christmas Story

Dr. Chuck Missler, a widely recognized Biblical authority, updates his classic study of Christmas. He explores the background, and myths, surrounding our favorite holiday.

  • What really happened in Bethlehem two thousand years ago?
  • Who were the "Magi?"
  • Why a virgin birth?
  • What does a Christmas Tree have to do with it?

Each year at Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

After the New Year, we struggle to remember to add a year as we date our checks, which should remind us that the entire Western World reckons its calendar from the birth of the One who changed the world more than any other before or since.

It is disturbing to discover that much of what we have been taught about the Christmas season seems to be more tradition than truth. Santa Claus isn't the only myth or legend that has arisen out of this season.

On what "loophole" does the Messianic hope rest?
