Description

Description

Is All Progress Good for Mankind? From the fall of man, humanity has always been on a pathway of self-deception which ultimately leads to destruction. Thinking themselves wise, they have consistently become fools. Like the people after the flood judgment of God, they thought they could use their ingenuity to enhance their existence in the land.

“And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.”
Is there a prophetic parallel here with the downside of technological advancement?

Join Ron Matsen for a Biblical perspective into this cutting edge field. Ron was a former management consultant with IBM Corporation’s Federal Systems Division, working on aerospace projects for both the U.S. military and NASA. He also worked with other major aerospace companies, including Computer Sciences Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and BAE Systems.

This briefing pack contains 2 hours of teaching.

With over 30 years in the pastoral ministry, Ron has taught verse-by verse through the Bible many times, hosted a live two-hour TV programme broadcast across Europe for more than two years, and taught extensively on the subjects of evangelism, leadership, and end-times topics. Although Ron and his wife are native Californians, they moved to England in 1992 and in 2011 immigrated to New Zealand where they partnered with Chuck Missler at the ministry base, The River Lodge. Ron is currently the President of Koinonia House and Koinonia Institute.
