In a book that is being heralded as "an investigative masterpiece" with "astounding archaeological and prophetic implications," TEMPLE: Amazing New Discoveries That Change Everything About the Location of Solomon's Temple, by Robert Cornuke, is sending shockwaves through the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian worlds.

Can you imagine the upheaval in political and religious thinking if the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is not the site of Solomon's and Herod's temples? And what if the stones of the Wailing Wall are not what tradition says? In this highly-researched, exciting book, the author proposes from current archaeological excavations and Scriptural corroboration that the true temple location is not where tradition teaches. This is must reading for anyone who wants to fit together the pieces of biblical records, current geo-politics, and prophecy.

Says the author, "Let the adventure begin as we now take the Bible in one hand and a shovel in the other and dig up some long-lost buried bones of biblical history. Along the way we will walk unknown passageways, known only to the prophets of old, as we search for the true location of the lost temples of Solomon and Herod. We will also lift a candle into the dim recesses of history and uncover secrets about the Ark of the Covenant and the gold Mercy Seat's prophetic obligation as it relates to the future Millennial temple."

Temple (Revised and Expanded) requires editing

It was somewhat disappointing to me that this “Revised and Expanded” publication had no new archaeological findings, evidence, or updates alluding to any movement towards the acceptance by either the Jewish or Christian communities for the theory as proposed by Robert Cornuke, and that is what I was looking forward to read about. So, don’t be “bamboozled” by this, as I was!
,,As it turns out, the “Revised” portion of the publication is nothing more than the slight change in format (no change in content) that I alluded to (hardly anything to speak of).
The issue that I have is relative to the various responses to “Ten Objections made against Cornuke’s Temple Hypothesis.” In my view the ten responses fall short and are inadequately presented or expressed.

SIMPLE TO READ AND BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN for anyone to CLEARLY understand what he is saying.

Bob Cornuke is a SUPERB WRITER! I write but only ebooks without advertising. I do messianic re: Bible and prophecy. But he is far better as writing simple but very gRAPHIC the information he wishes to portray. He makes a very convincing case; yet, I'd love to see any digs in that area. Because Satan says in the Tanackh that he will exalt himself higher than the stars (Believers and angels), higher than the temple of the assembly... I know that muslims build mosques mainly on top of the most visible place or on the spot of churches, especially that is what they conquered, as they did in the Byzantine empire. They may have "killed 2 birds with one stone" but they put that mosque there because obviously there must have been a church there for them to conquer! Same with 9/11. They tried to get as close to that spot as possible and wanted a mosque study center there, remember? I have many Moslem comrade in Texas. But history tells us they do this when they conquer. This who have criticized him in IsraEl and other places, their logic is not SO LOGICAL and definitely not based on the Tanackh or our TORAH. Bob Cornuke's book on the Temple is worth reading. I LOVED IT! I want to agree with him, but the truth is, we Believers are building the Temple and hold the Tabernacle in us. It won't matter. When King Mashiach Yeshua comes with us or some and the rest of us are in Heaven working, He'll know EXACTLY where to build that Millennial TEMPLE. THEN WE ALL WILl know THE FULL TRUTH, won't we? So read this book and look at his graphics. It will cause your mind to explore and wonder on the TEMPLE and why It is so important even for us Believers (Messianics and Non-Messianics). It's FANTASTIC and a very EASY READ.

Very enlightening content.

I already knew of the location and have read some of Bob's other works, so I'm glad I bought the book. Bob has a great heart for Biblical research, but at times seems to take credit for "discovery" when so many others before him have already discovered the same things. Regardless, you'll find really good information about what is real in this book, so just overlook the redundancies and some self aggrandizing and enjoy the content.

Do you know where the original temple in Jerusalem was? Do you care? So, what is that to me.....e...

As an avid Bible student who avoids fluff, smoke, and mirrors, I loved this book. The references were accurate and meaningful and traditional clergy will most likely not buy into his conclusions because they are blinded by traditions of men.
The only disappointment I had was that I wish it was longer, because I wanted more when I finished the book; After I finished it, I read it out loud to my wife, cover to cover, only to have her feel the same way I did.
